Appsthentic ("we") publishes AppSalesPro, a sales and field-team app for businesses. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. AppSalesPro is used through a company account: the company that invites you (your employer) decides how its team uses the app, and we process the data on its behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and role, used to log you in with a one-time code.
- Business data you enter: leads, customers, tasks, notes, call outcomes, orders, payments, receipts and the photos you attach as payment proof.
- Location: when you check in or out of a visit, we read your location once. If your company turns on "During working hours" tracking, the app also records your location during your working hours, including while the app is in the background. A notification (Android) or indicator (iPhone) is shown while this is on. We never record location outside working hours, and never when your company has tracking off or set to "only at visits".
- Photos and camera: only the photos you choose to attach, such as a cheque or UPI screenshot. We do not read your photo library.
- Technical data: device type, app version, and server logs (time, address and error details) used to keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
To run the app: show your tasks, record visits and sales, produce receipts, let managers see team activity and routes if your company enables it, keep the service secure, and give support. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Who can see it
- Your company (owners, admins and your managers, according to its settings) can see the work data and, if enabled, the location data described above.
- Our service providers who host and operate the service (cloud hosting and database) and deliver your login code by WhatsApp (AiSensy and Meta, who receive your mobile number and the code). They may only process data for us.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
Company data is kept while the company's account is active. You can delete your own account at any time in the app: Me → Help & support → Delete account, or by following the steps on our Delete your account page. Deleting your account erases your name, number and email, deletes your recorded location history, and stops you signing in. Records your company needs, such as orders and receipts, stay with the company and show "Deleted user" instead of your name. Location history older than 90 days is deleted automatically. When a company closes its account, its data is deleted within 30 days, except what we must keep by law. Company owners can also download all their data at any time from the web panel.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, access is limited by company and role, and login uses one-time codes. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone locked and tell us at once if you lose it.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw location permission in your phone's settings at any time (check-in will then need you to allow location again). You can also contact us to raise a complaint. Under Indian law you may also approach the Data Protection Board.
Children
AppSalesPro is for working adults and is not directed at children under 18.
